Currently, we are required high grinding efficiency and tool cost reduction when processing hardened materials such as automobile parts. "-SAKURA-" achieves improved sharpness (reduction of grinding resistance) after truing by renewing the composition of CBN abrasive grains, bonds, and fillers, which are the main components of the CBN layer. As a result, we provide ease of use such as stable shape accuracy and stable grinding time in addition to long-life wheel performance.

Vitrified CBN Wheel for Shaft Grinding Tough Premium III
This vitrified CBN wheel was designed for ease of use (machining precision, burn, and residual stress). To improve the problem of reduced cutting performance immediately after truing that ordinary vitrified CBN wheels are prone to, the thermal resistance of the binder has been enhanced, with improvement achieved by adjusting the compounding quantities. Changes in wheel wear and roughness equivalent to the Tough Premium II can be expected.

Vitrified CBN Wheel for Cast-iron Grinding Tough Premium III
This vitrified CBN wheel was developed for specialized use in cast-iron cam grinding through high-efficiency grinding. The binder for the Tough Premium III for shaft grinding is used, with effort also devoted to optimizing the structural components. The decrease in roughness is slow and wear is also low, which can help enhance tool cost performance.

PCD combines the wear resistance of a diamond and the strength and toughness of tungsten carbide.
