Basic environmental philosophy
JTEKT GRINDING TOOLS CORPORATION continuously furthers continuous improvements in the environmental management system, and endeavors to achieve harmony with people, society, and the global environment, and contribute to the creation of an affluent, comfortable society to live in, and become a reliable corporate citizen through its production activities and products.

Strive to boundlessly enhance production efficiency and quality, assess the impact of production activities and products on the environment in an appropriate manner, and continuously improve environmental conservation, including through saving resources and energy, reducing waste and CO2 emissions, and preventing environmental pollution.
In addition, concentrate efforts on the use of sustainable resources, mitigation of and adaptation to climate change, and the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems. - Comply with obligations relating to environmental aspects, and make efforts to conserve the local environment with awareness and responsibility as a community member.
- Based on 1 and 2 of the Environmental Policies and significant environmental aspects, define the objectives and targets of environmental conservation activities to raise awareness of environmental conservation in each employee and to instill self-management in the workplace. In addition, regularly review the progress of achieving the objectives and targets, etc., and endeavor to improve environmental performance.
