December 1974	-Toyoda Machine Works, Ltd. (now JTEKT) and L. M. Van Moppes & Sons Ltd. (now Saint-Gobain) concluded a joint venture agreement.
April 1975	-Toyoda Van Moppes Ltd. was founded. -Toyoda Van Moppes began operations at the Inuyama Plant.
1976	-Sales of rotary dressers began.
1977	-New head office plant was constructed in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture. - Sales of wear-resistant products adopting PCD began ahead of others in the industry.
1978	-Sales of diamond and CBN wheels began.
1979	-Tokyo Office opened.
1980	-Osaka Office opened. -Sales of CBN wheels (resin bond) for cam grinding began.
1981	-Toyoda Van Moppes exported products. -Inuyama Plant was integrated into the head office plant, resulting in the establishment of an integrated production system.
1982	-Head office plant was extended.
1983	-Sales of the DPCGX-R tool grinding machine exclusively for PCD and PCBN cutting tools and the CHMF-I chamfering machine began.
1984	-Sales of ultra-precise diamond cutting tools began.
1985	-Sales of the Ultra-mate metal wheel began.
1987	-Sales of the VA series vitrified wheel began.
1988	-Second plant was newly constructed. -Export of CBN vitrified wheels for cam and crankpin grinding to Europe and the U.S. began.
1992	-Hiroshima Office opened.
1994	-Fukuoka Office opened.
1996	-Sales of ultra-high-speed (160 m/s) CBN vitrified wheels began. -Head office plant obtained ISO 9001 certification.
2000	-Initial extension of the second plant was completed. -Sales of ultra-high-speed (200 m/s) CBN vitrified wheels began. -Hamamatsu Office opened.
2001	-Head office plant obtained ISO 14001 certification. -Toyoda Van Moppes began recoating CBN vitrified wheels jointly with Universal Superabrasives Inc. (now Saint-Gobain).
2004	-Customer Center was newly constructed.
2007	-Second extension of the second plant was completed.
2012	-Toyoda Van Moppes (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. was established in Hanoi, Vietnam. -Technical center was extended.
2014	-Received the Quality Control Excellence Award from Toyota Motor Corporation.
2016	-Received the Quality Control Excellence Award from Toyota Motor Corporation. -Started the recoating business of CBN vitrified wheels for Vietnam business expansion.
2017	-Received the Distinguished Creativity and Ingenuity Awards from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (2 employees) -Logistics Center was established. -Received the Quality Control Excellence Award from Toyota Motor Corporation.
2018	-Received the Distinguished Creativity and Ingenuity Awards from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (2 employees)
2019	-Business alliance with HIKARI KIKAI SEISAKUSHO CO., LTD.　for sales of diamond tool grinding machines
2020	-JTEKT GRINDING TOOLS 45th anniversary
2021	-Sales of vitrified diamond wheels for semiconductor wafer processing started
2022	-Company name changed to JTEKT GRINDING TOOLS CORPORATION -Toyoda Van Moppes（Vietnam）Co.,Ltd 10th anniversary
2023	-Toyoda Van Moppes (Vietnam) Co., Ltd changed its name to JTEKT GRINDING TOOLS (VIETNAM) CO., LTD.
